Role overview Serve as a hands-on founding technical member of a newly formed Professional Services Security Assurance team, delivering high-impact security engagements directly to customers. Translate complex technical risk into clear, actionable security postures while shaping the methodologies and standards of a brand-new practice.
Responsibilities - Lead customer-facing security assessments across web, mobile, API, cloud, and AI-enabled applications, including architecture and design reviews, threat modeling, secure code reviews, and penetration testing. - Run threat modeling exercises to map attack vectors, evaluate business risk, and recommend controls that balance security, usability, and business objectives. - Produce comprehensive written assessments with clear findings, risk ratings, and actionable remediation guidance for both technical and executive audiences. - Act as a trusted security advisor, providing practical remediation guidance and best-practice recommendations to improve customer security posture. - Collaborate with delivery teams to embed security across the software development lifecycle, from design through deployment. - Improve and scale assessment methodologies, automation, and tooling, and contribute to technical security standards, reference architectures, and secure development guidelines.
Requirements - Senior: 5+ years in Application Security, Product Security, or Security Consulting. Lead: 8+ years in the same disciplines. - Hands-on experience performing application security assessments, including architecture and design reviews, threat modeling, secure code reviews, penetration testing, and cloud security reviews. - Strong knowledge of common application security vulnerabilities and secure development practices, including the OWASP Top 10, API Security Top 10, and common attack techniques. - Experience assessing web applications, APIs, containers, microservices, and cloud-native environments.
