Full Stack Engineer (NSS)

Role overview Join a product engineering team during Ghana’s National Service Scheme year and contribute to software used in operational business settings. You’ll build and ship features across web interfaces, backend services, APIs, and data systems, with the possibility of being considered for a permanent role after service based on performance.

Responsibilities - Develop and maintain responsive web applications and backend features across several product areas. - Design APIs and database changes, including migrations and data validation. - Build accessible, performant interfaces and integrate them with backend services. - Add AI-powered capabilities such as document processing and workflow automation. - Test, deploy, and monitor production software; investigate issues and improve reliability. - Collaborate with engineers, contribute to code reviews, and communicate progress and technical decisions.

Requirements - Recent university graduate eligible for or beginning an NSS year in Ghana. - Working familiarity with software development fundamentals and a willingness to learn across the stack. - Ability to take ownership of problems, learn from documentation, and work through challenges independently. - Clear communication and care for code quality and production outcomes.

Nice to have - Familiarity with TypeScript or JavaScript, SQL, Python, React, Next.js, Node.js, or REST APIs. - Exposure to PostgreSQL, Redis, containers, CI/CD, cloud deployment, or Linux. - Interest in LLM APIs, structured data extraction, and workflow automation.
