About this role
Role overview A remote Technical Account Manager role focused on enterprise customers of a cybersecurity exposure-validation platform. The position partners with large accounts across the full customer lifecycle, from onboarding and implementation through adoption, expansion, and ongoing technical advisory. The work spans hands-on technical guidance, cross-functional collaboration, and proactive relationship management for accounts in North America, with occasional overlap into APAC business hours.
Responsibilities - Lead onboarding and complex implementation projects including installation, training, and full technical setup. - Provide expert technical guidance across the customer lifecycle, promoting best practices and clearing blockers. - Manage enterprise relationships proactively to hit SLAs through strategic advisories and regular check-ins. - Drive product adoption and expansion by translating usage data into optimization recommendations. - Partner with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Support to advocate for customer needs and resolve issues. - Use customer success tools to track engagement, surface risks early, and maintain a seamless experience. - Operate independently during APAC business hours while coordinating with global teammates.
Requirements - 5+ years in customer-facing roles such as Technical Account Manager, Tier 2/3 Support Engineer, or Professional Services within cybersecurity or SaaS. - Strong command of the MITRE ATT&CK framework and detection engineering principles. - Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, firewalls, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, or penetration testing tools. - Comfort working across AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-premises systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux. - Familiarity with offensive security concepts such as BAS, pentesting, threat hunting, red teaming, CTEM, or AEV. - Proven success delivering workshops and driving post-sales adoption with enterprise customers. - Strong communication skills, project ownership, and willingness to travel up to 15%.
Nice to have - Deep expertise in offensive security methodologies including BAS, pentesting, threat hunting, red teaming, CTEM, or AEV. - Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for platform customization. - Experience scaling a customer success function inside a startup or high-growth environment. - Industry certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, or CEH.
