Senior AI Engineer

Role overview Join a delivery-focused team shipping production AI and machine learning systems for enterprise clients. This is a senior, hands-on engineering role where you will own features end-to-end and help shape the architecture of in-flight AI products where reliability, performance, and scalability matter.

Responsibilities - Design, build, and deploy ML/AI models end-to-end, including data pipelines, training workflows, and performance optimization - Maintain and improve production AI systems, monitoring for drift, debugging issues, and driving reliability improvements - Partner with product, engineering, and data teams to align AI work with broader product and business goals - Translate technical tradeoffs, model behavior, and constraints into language non-specialists can act on - Contribute to AI architecture decisions with thoughtful perspective on long-term implications - Use AI-forward coding tools to ship higher-quality work at pace

Requirements - 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, with 2+ years focused on production AI/ML systems and hands-on generative AI work - Strong software engineering background in Python or comparable languages - Working knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably AWS services including AWS GenAI offerings - Proven ability to design and ship agentic systems - Hands-on experience with RAG pipelines, including chunking strategies, embedding models, and vector databases - Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments - Familiarity with AI safety, responsible AI principles, prompt injection defenses, and PII handling - Demonstrable day-to-day use of AI-assisted coding tools

Nice to have - Experience with evaluation frameworks and observability tooling for LLM applications - Cost optimization expertise across token economics, caching, model routing, and quantization - API development experience integrating internal and third-party services
