Customer Success Engineer (Contract)

Role overview

This long-term contract position places a bilingual Customer Success Engineer at the intersection of software engineering, customer success, and AI deployment. The role supports enterprise customers adopting AI voice agents, helping them design conversation flows, troubleshoot production issues, and scale technical integrations. The engineer partners directly with customer engineering teams while collaborating closely with internal Product and Engineering counterparts.

Responsibilities

- Lead technical onboarding and deployment for enterprise accounts adopting AI voice agents - Build and configure voice agents alongside customer teams, designing conversation flows and rollout strategies - Debug issues across APIs, webhooks, SIP, telephony, authentication, integrations, and latency - Work directly inside customer codebases when needed to resolve integration challenges - Translate customer feedback into product improvements and flag gaps to internal teams - Identify opportunities for customers to expand adoption and launch new use cases

Requirements

- Fluent in spoken and written Spanish and English - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field - 2–8 years of professional experience in Customer Success Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Forward Deployed Engineering, Software Engineering, or a similar role - Hands-on experience with APIs and debugging production technical issues - Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to customers - Comfortable working directly with customers to build solutions collaboratively - Available to overlap working hours with a Pacific Time team and customers

Nice to have

- Experience with Python or TypeScript - Background in AI, LLMs, or voice AI - Startup or enterprise customer experience - Willingness to travel occasionally for customer launches or onsite work
