Role overview
This remote customer support and sales position helps grow an online retail channel for bathroom and home-improvement products. The work combines live customer service, sales follow-up, lead qualification, order coordination, and CRM administration, while connecting digital shoppers with warehouse, showroom, and sales teams.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to live-chat and email inquiries, helping customers choose suitable products. - Follow up after purchases to identify relevant upsell opportunities and provide tailored recommendations. - Qualify and quickly route high-value project enquiries to the appropriate sales representatives. - Coordinate with warehouse and internal operations teams to verify orders and support accurate fulfillment. - Maintain complete, accurate customer, lead, and activity records in the CRM. - Balance multiple conversations and operational tasks while protecting response quality and data accuracy.
Requirements
- Proven experience in e-commerce, retail sales coordination, customer support operations, or a closely related field. - Excellent written and spoken English for managing a high volume of live-chat and email interactions. - Hands-on experience with a CRM platform; experience managing a Shopify-based online store is advantageous. - Strong attention to detail when checking orders, customer information, and fulfillment requirements. - Ability to multitask, prioritize promptly, and work independently in a customer-facing environment. - Understanding of the Australian retail landscape and customer expectations.
