Senior Solutions Architect - Germany

Role overview This senior solutions architect role centers on helping enterprise customers design and adopt an in-memory data platform, with growing emphasis on emerging AI-driven workloads. The position blends pre-sales engineering with customer success, helping shape how the technology shows up in modern AI architectures across the region rather than inheriting an established playbook.

Responsibilities - Partner with customer technical teams to design solutions using in-memory data technology, including AI use cases such as vector search, retrieval-augmented generation, and semantic caching - Lead proof-of-concept, pilot, and evaluation engagements working hands-on with customer engineers, architects, and executives - Translate business and technical requirements into concrete implementation plans and measurable evaluation criteria - Collaborate with sales counterparts on account strategy and expansion opportunities across new and existing customers - Present technical capabilities in a way that connects platform value to business impact and competitive advantage - Channel customer insights back into product management and engineering to improve materials and influence roadmap decisions

Requirements - 3+ years of pre-sales engineering experience, ideally in database or data platform sales - Hands-on server-side software development experience on Linux - Working knowledge of scalable, highly available distributed systems - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience - Strong communication and presentation skills with a customer-first mindset - Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites - Excellent written and spoken English

Nice to have - Familiarity with AI/ML application architectures, including vector databases, RAG pipelines, and LLM-based applications
