Role overview
This AI/ML engineering role focuses on building practical machine learning, generative AI, and agentic solutions for real production environments. You will work directly on customer-facing problems, developing pipelines and applications that turn data into measurable business value, with room to grow into broader senior responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and productionize AI, machine learning, and GenAI solutions across varied data environments. - Design and implement retrieval-augmented generation systems such as knowledge assistants, document-processing workflows, and search applications. - Build agentic systems using tool use, multi-step planning, skills, and related interoperability approaches where appropriate. - Apply MLOps and LLMOps practices, including pipeline versioning, monitoring, observability, and lifecycle management. - Translate business needs into clear technical solutions and communicate decisions to varied stakeholders. - Work with cloud AI/ML services and deliver solutions using containers and CI/CD practices.
Requirements
- Experience delivering AI/ML or GenAI systems into production environments. - Practical understanding of agentic architectures and when an agent-based approach is appropriate. - Familiarity with model and application pipelines, versioning, monitoring, and production observability. - Experience with at least one of Azure, AWS, or GCP and its AI/ML services. - Solid Docker and CI/CD fundamentals. - Fluent written and spoken Finnish, in addition to English.
Nice to have
- Evaluation frameworks covering measures such as faithfulness, correctness, and relevance. - Knowledge of responsible AI, privacy, prompt-injection defenses, output guardrails, and the EU AI Act. - Experience with traditional ML using tools such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow. - Strong SQL, full-stack development experience, or willingness to learn unfamiliar technologies quickly.
