Engineering Manager, Treasury

Role overview Lead the engineering work behind treasury systems that move and reconcile funds across assets, currencies, networks, and financial partners. The role combines team leadership with hands-on architectural ownership, with a substantial focus on wallet and custody integrations, key management, signing, and reliable operation across global markets.

Responsibilities - Own engineering across treasury capabilities such as FX, wallets and accounts, rails and networks, and the global ledger. - Guide the design, delivery, and operation of core money movement systems, making and explaining key technical decisions. - Lead wallet and custody integrations from provider assessment and key management design through production operations and reconciliation. - Work with product, engineering, finance, customer success, and business operations to turn treasury plans into systems for global hubs. - Grow the team through hiring, team practices, technical decision-making, and support for engineers' development. - Build observability, lead incident response, define improvement measures, and maintain high standards for system quality and scale. - Use AI tools in design, review, debugging, specifications, and synthesis, and help the team apply them effectively.

Requirements - At least eight years of software engineering experience in treasury, ledgers, or FX, including one to two years in technical leadership or management and ownership of business-critical systems. - Working knowledge of custodial and non-custodial wallet architecture, key management, address lifecycles, and signing flows, with production wallet or custody integrations. - Broad familiarity with financial infrastructure, including virtual assets, fiat currencies, blockchains, payment networks, ledgers, and counterparties. - Experience building API-driven global financial systems and translating specifications into integration designs and precise API requirements. - Deep backend skills, rigorous problem solving, and comfort working across technical layers to address system needs.
