Software Engineering Intern

Role overview Join an engineering team as an intern and contribute to real product work from the start, with guidance from a dedicated mentor and detailed code review. You will learn by implementing small features, fixes, and tests, while developing practical skills with a web development stack and AI coding assistants.

Responsibilities - Take on scoped engineering issues, including small features and bug fixes. - Write tests as part of day-to-day development work. - Learn the team's Django, Tailwind, Alpine, and HTMX tools through hands-on contributions. - Work with a mentor and incorporate feedback from code reviews. - Use AI coding assistants thoughtfully, checking their output before relying on it.

Requirements - Interest in software engineering and willingness to learn through practical work. - Suitable for students and early-career engineers. - Openness to mentoring, code review, and feedback. - Ability to evaluate and verify AI-generated code rather than accepting it without review.
