Senior Product Designer - Enterprise Security Platform

Role overview

Lead product design for an enterprise security platform that helps technical teams understand software risk and take action across images, clusters, workloads, policies, and environments. You’ll work with Product and Engineering from early discovery through implementation, designing coherent workflows for users with different needs and levels of technical detail. The role is primarily product design, with some support for brand and marketing materials, and begins as a hands-on individual contributor with influence over how the design practice develops.

Responsibilities

- Design end-to-end experiences for risk discovery, remediation, governance, and reporting across the platform. - Make large, complex datasets easier to explore through effective tables, filters, search, comparisons, visualizations, and drill-downs. - Establish information architecture and interaction patterns for enterprise concerns such as permissions, organizations, environments, policies, onboarding, audit, and administration. - Work iteratively with Product and Engineering: shape problems, challenge assumptions, prototype, test ideas, and stay engaged through implementation. - Use customer conversations, usability research, product analytics, and behavioral data to guide design decisions and improve shipped experiences. - Evolve a practical design system and, with Marketing, help keep the website, launches, presentations, and sales materials visually and conceptually consistent.

Requirements

- At least five years of product design experience, including work on complex B2B, enterprise, platform, developer, infrastructure, data, or operational products. - A portfolio showing shipped software, especially data-heavy interfaces and complex workflows. - Strong systems thinking, interaction design, information architecture, UX, and visual design skills. - Ability to make technically complex information understandable while preserving details users need to make decisions. - Experience collaborating directly with product managers and engineers, working independently, and using analytics to evaluate product experiences. - Advanced Figma skills, including components, variables, design systems, responsive layouts, and prototyping; regular practical use of AI tools in design work. - Clear written and verbal communication, sound product judgment, and comfort moving from ambiguous problems to tested, production-ready designs.

Nice to have

- Background in cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or related technical products; experience with AI or agent-driven workflows is also useful.

Benefits and work setup

Remote within the United States, with preference for candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area. U.S. citizenship is required because the role supports federal projects. Compensation is listed as $180,000 total, including base pay, performance bonus, and equity options; the package also includes a 401(k) match, health benefits, and unlimited paid time off.
