Job details
About this role
Role overview Design end-to-end digital products for complex, high-pressure work where users need interfaces they can understand and trust. You’ll join a new product team, partner with product managers, engineers, and subject matter experts, and help shape both individual experiences and the design standards that support a growing portfolio.
Responsibilities - Lead product and interaction design from discovery and concept through launch and continued improvement. - Turn complex workflows into clear, efficient interfaces for analytical users. - Design AI-assisted experiences that help users interpret outputs, assess recommendations, and work alongside automated tools. - Conduct research with users and stakeholders, and use findings to guide product choices. - Work with engineering and product partners to account for AI behavior and limitations and preserve design quality through implementation. - Improve shared design systems, documentation, and standards; communicate rationale and lead design reviews.
Requirements - At least seven years of product design experience across web or mobile products, especially in complex domains. - A portfolio showing strong visual and interaction craft, evidence-based decisions, and measurable results. - Hands-on experience designing and shipping an AI-powered feature, with the ability to explain its design trade-offs. - Skill in user research, interactive prototyping, and explaining decisions to cross-functional partners. - Ability to make progress amid ambiguity and own work from framing through launch and iteration. - Experience contributing to design systems and understanding AI behavior well enough to create practical, trustworthy interfaces.
Nice to have - Experience at a small product team or early-stage company; designing analytical dashboards; building a design system from scratch; or applying accessibility standards and inclusive design in regulated settings.
