About this role
Role overview Help translate user and stakeholder needs into requirements that guide software delivery for public-sector programs. This analyst works between customers, subject matter experts, developers, and testers, contributing to requirements reviews, testing, and readiness assessments so delivered functionality addresses the intended need.
Responsibilities - Research business needs and document requirements in a form development teams can act on. - Represent user and customer perspectives in discussions with stakeholders, technical teams, and testers. - Participate in requirements reviews and assess whether proposed functionality meets expected outcomes. - Support testing activities and analyze operational or delivery readiness. - Contribute analytical input on risks, data, and changing business requirements.
Requirements - Three to five years of hands-on experience in a technical role. - A bachelor’s degree or higher. - Experience communicating with customers, stakeholders, and agile software teams. - Background in requirements analysis and technical work such as software development, systems engineering, integration, or release management. - Familiarity with data analytics, risk management, scaled agile methods, or agile transformation. - Active Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required for program eligibility.
Nice to have - Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, clear interpersonal communication, and adaptability as needs change. - Certifications related to data management, data engineering, software development, cybersecurity, or SAFe.
Benefits and work setup This is an onsite role in Colorado Springs, Colorado, with up to 10% travel. The position is limited to work conducted within the continental United States. Compensation is listed at $110,000–$130,000.
