Sr. Software Engineer - PAT Assist

Role overview Build and improve software that automates pre-admission testing workflows for hospital teams. The role combines hands-on full-stack development with product ownership, helping reduce administrative work for clinical staff while improving the reliability and usability of care coordination tools.

Responsibilities - Learn how pre-admission testing works in hospitals and identify opportunities to make the process more efficient for staff. - Work with engineering and product partners to define requirements and shape the product roadmap. - Lead the design, delivery, and ongoing improvement of the product. - Consult customers and other stakeholders to test ideas and incorporate feedback. - Create straightforward, dependable user experiences and communicate a clear product direction. - Support and mentor colleagues across engineering and related teams.

Requirements - At least four years of product engineering experience. - Experience delivering software in a fast-moving, remote startup environment. - Full-stack development experience with Python and TypeScript/React. - Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to influence across teams. - Ability to connect system-level needs with careful attention to implementation details. - Interest in solving practical problems with meaningful real-world impact.

Nice to have - Interest in generative AI, large language models, or conversational AI tools. - Experience in health technology.
