Role overview A remote (US) Senior Product Manager opportunity focused on insurance technology platforms serving consumer-facing insurance products. The role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, data science, and insurance domain expertise, shaping product vision and strategy while driving measurable business outcomes across complex, multi-workstream initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead empowered cross-functional squads spanning engineering, data science, and insurance domain teams through ambiguous, high-impact problem spaces. - Drive product discovery using qualitative and quantitative insights, testing assumptions and identifying high-value opportunities across multiple workstreams. - Own Agile delivery end-to-end, including goals, priorities, trade-offs, scope, and backlog management across Scrum and Kanban environments. - Evaluate build-versus-buy options and recommend approaches that balance product needs, delivery timelines, and cost. - Contribute to technical design discussions, identifying dependencies and weighing performance, scalability, security, and architectural quality. - Coordinate across product owners, project managers, program managers, and scrum masters to keep execution aligned with strategic objectives. - Use data and evidence to prioritize work, measure outcomes, and reinforce a culture of measurement-driven decision-making. - Leverage AI to synthesize research, strategy, and execution into actionable outputs that accelerate product delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. - Proven track record partnering directly with engineering, design, and QA teams. - Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams, navigating multi-stakeholder environments, and building consensus. - Strong understanding of software development in at least two of: cloud infrastructure, API/backend services, or data platforms/data science. - Experience applying AI to repeatable research, strategy, and execution workflows. - Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication, with comfort operating in a distributed environment.
