Role overview A senior product engineering leader is needed to grow and inspire high-caliber engineering teams building a unified quality and compliance management platform for regulated industries. The role combines hands-on technical leadership with people management, partnering across functions to deliver reliable, scalable technology that helps life-sciences customers bring products to market faster and more safely. It is a strategic position focused on raising team velocity, removing roadblocks, and translating business needs into technical outcomes.
Responsibilities - Build, develop, and manage a customer-focused engineering team, engaging members in the broader company strategy - Execute on product strategy by delivering high-quality features, applications, and technology solutions on a consistent cadence - Develop and uphold standards, procedures, and quality expectations across the engineering organization - Partner with leaders across the company to translate technology capabilities into strategic business decisions and product opportunities - Drive accountability and metrics ownership so that strategy converts into measurable results - Analyze product data, collaborate across teams, and engage directly with customers to surface needs, resolve issues, and shape product ideas
Requirements - 4+ years of engineering management experience in high-growth engineering organizations, ideally within B2B SaaS - Proven track record of building, growing, retaining, and inspiring customer-focused technologists - Engineering and leadership depth across tooling, specifications, product maintenance, and software products - Hands-on experience designing large-scale systems that are reliable, scalable, secure, and highly performant using industry best practices - Working knowledge of a major cloud platform such as AWS, GCP, or Azure - Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools (for example Claude Code, Cursor, or Windsurf) and a track record of advocating for their adoption - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present project status and ideas clearly to a broad audience
Nice to have - Background in regulated industries such as life sciences, medical devices, or diagnostics - Familiarity with quality, compliance, or audit-readiness workflows and standards
