Role overview
A director-level role leading an enterprise resilience programme for a data protection and cyber resilience technology company. The position sets the strategy, governance, and operating model that enable the organisation to withstand, respond to, and recover from disruptive events, treating resilience as a measurable business capability.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the enterprise resilience strategy and roadmap, including governance, standards, reporting, and performance metrics. - Mature and scale a Resilience Operations framework, driving accountability for resilience outcomes across the organisation. - Define critical service resilience requirements, lead business impact analyses, and maintain dependency maps and resilience posture visibility. - Lead enterprise resilience testing, exercising, and recovery validation, establishing recovery readiness metrics and resilience performance indicators. - Coordinate crisis management planning and preparedness activities across cyber, technology, operational, and business disruption scenarios. - Partner with Security, Engineering, IT, Product, Compliance, Customer Support, and business teams to embed resilience into day-to-day operations. - Support customer, audit, certification, and regulatory resilience requirements, reporting regularly to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, or a related field. - At least 10 years of experience in operational resilience, business continuity, disaster recovery, cyber resilience, or adjacent disciplines. - Demonstrated success building and leading enterprise resilience programmes in complex, global organisations. - Strong knowledge of critical service resilience, recovery planning, testing, and crisis preparedness. - Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience operating in SaaS, cloud, cybersecurity, or technology environments. - Familiarity with ISO 22301, NIST, DORA, and related resilience frameworks, supported by relevant industry certifications.
