User Acceptance Tester, Resware

Role overview A user acceptance and quality assurance role dedicated to a title insurance and settlement software suite widely used across the real estate closing industry. The position centers on validating enhancements and modifications to the v10 release, working alongside product and engineering to safeguard functionality and user experience. The role is based in Austin, TX, and is suited to a tester who values understanding the full end-to-end journey for both new and seasoned users.

Responsibilities - Perform feature testing to confirm new functionality matches requirements and behaves as expected. - Execute regression testing to ensure changes do not break existing capabilities. - Conduct exploratory testing by thinking like an end-user and intentionally probing edge cases, usability issues, and defects. - Assess UI/UX for intuitiveness, visual consistency, and overall user experience across the application. - Validate API behavior and the data exchanged between systems.

Requirements - Hands-on experience as a QA or acceptance tester on complex business software. - Familiarity with the title insurance or settlement services domain, or comparable industry workflow tools. - Ability to design and execute a mix of scripted, regression, and exploratory test approaches. - Strong collaboration skills for working closely with product and engineering teams. - Attention to detail combined with a strategic, end-to-end view of the user journey.

Nice to have - Experience testing both UI layers and underlying APIs. - Comfort validating major platform version releases and migration scenarios.
