Responsibilities - Design and develop test automation frameworks and tooling as production-grade software, including migration between modern end-to-end test stacks - Own core test infrastructure such as environment provisioning, parallelization, and large-scale CI/CD test execution - Define automation strategy across unit, integration, API, and end-to-end layers so coverage lives at the layer where it is fastest and most reliable - Partner on release orchestration systems that manage build promotion, deployment gating, and rollback across environments - Build observability into test frameworks and scripts, tracking flakiness, execution time, and failure patterns to measure and improve automation reliability - Tackle challenging engineering problems ranging from flaky test infrastructure to AI-assisted testing tooling, from design through deployment

Requirements - Senior-level experience as a software engineer building test infrastructure and tooling, rather than scripting individual test cases - Demonstrated ability to take loosely-defined, hard problems and make technical calls on framework and strategy - Deep technical understanding of the systems being tested, with the collaboration skills to mentor engineers on better tests, tooling, and infrastructure code - Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, test environment provisioning, and parallel test execution at scale - Familiarity with modern automation frameworks across multiple layers of the testing pyramid
