Developer Onboarding & Activation Manager

Role overview Improve the path from developer signup to successful integration, sustained product use, and paid adoption for a software platform. This hands-on growth role combines funnel analysis, experimentation, onboarding content, and cross-functional product work to help developers reach value sooner.

Responsibilities - Own and refine onboarding from account creation and first API key through integration and paid conversion. - Analyze user journeys, conversion funnels, behavior, and drop-off points to find friction. - Plan and run experiments that improve onboarding completion, activation, and conversion. - Partner with product and engineering teams on quickstarts, documentation, sample apps, and first-use experiences. - Create lifecycle messages and contextual guidance that help developers reach their next milestone. - Improve self-service paths for product use, pricing discovery, and paid plans. - Track measures such as time to first value, activation, engagement, and first-time paid customers. - Explore AI-assisted onboarding for developers using coding assistants.

Requirements - Experience in product-led growth, developer activation, lifecycle or growth marketing, or a related field. - A track record improving onboarding, activation, or self-service conversion for SaaS or developer-focused products. - Strong analytical skills, including funnel analysis, segmentation, experimentation, and performance measurement. - Experience using product analytics and A/B testing to guide decisions. - Technical fluency sufficient to understand developer workflows, APIs, and integrations. - Experience turning insights into practical improvements with product and engineering teams. - Strong written and verbal English communication for distributed collaboration.

Nice to have - Experience with API-first products or developer infrastructure. - Familiarity with usage-based pricing, self-service monetization, analytics or experimentation tools, or AI coding assistants and related developer workflows.

Benefits and work setup Remote-first, full-time B2B contract based in Poland. Compensation is PLN 12,000–18,000 net plus VAT per month.
