About this role

Role overview

A senior technical leadership role within a software organization's channel organization, focused on building scalable, repeatable technical engagement for partner ecosystems across the Americas region. The position sits at the intersection of partner enablement, pre-sales technical advisory, and internal coordination, serving as the unified technical voice for channel partners and partner managers. Success in this role comes from elevating process maturity, governance, and field efficiency rather than handling individual customer delivery hands-on.

Responsibilities

- Serve as the regional technical point of contact for channel partners, channel account managers, and partner managers, providing clear visibility into partner technical requests and engagement status. - Take end-to-end ownership of discrete partner requests, from qualification through resolution, ensuring the right mix of internal resources is engaged and that outcomes feed back into continuous improvement. - Act as a trusted technical advisor to partners, answering questions on solutions, APIs, deployment approaches, and SaaS practices, and validating architectures and solution designs during pre-sale evaluations. - Coordinate with Customer Success, Product Management, and R&D teams to align partner requests with account planning, surface complex inquiries, and relay guidance back to partners. - Evaluate partner technical maturity and readiness, recommending training, certifications, and enablement paths that align with the company's architecture standards. - Establish unified processes and tooling for logging, routing, and tracking partner technical requests, and deliver leadership reporting on support load, recurring issues, and capacity needs.

Requirements

- Strong understanding of enterprise software solutions and partner ecosystems, including channel resellers, global system integrators, hyperscalers, and independent software vendors. - Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS technologies and deployment patterns. - Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, work from incomplete information, and drive alignment among diverse stakeholders. - Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills suited for partner and senior executive audiences. - Experience operating as a technical authority across pre-sales, solution architecture, and partner enablement functions. - Background in channel technical engagement, partner program governance, or similar ecosystem-facing leadership roles.

Nice to have

- Familiarity with industrial software, product lifecycle management, or computer-aided design domains. - Experience designing or operating closed-loop support processes with measurable improvement metrics.
