Role overview A flexible, work-from-home opportunity lets fluent Japanese speakers contribute to the training of conversational AI by simply having natural conversations on video. Participants are matched with another speaker, talk about ordinary topics, and let the recording become data that helps models sound more human. The role is fully task-based, with no set hours and no minimum weekly commitment.

Responsibilities - Join one-to-one video sessions in Japanese with another participant - Have an unscripted conversation about everyday topics, letting it flow naturally - Permit the session to be recorded so it can be used as training data for AI speech models - Pass a short language assessment before being added to the active participant pool - Check each task's expected duration and pay before deciding whether to accept it - Provide a quiet space and confirm headphones and microphone are working before each call

Requirements - Full fluency in Japanese - Functional English for reading instructions and any follow-up communication - Confidence chatting on camera with someone new for the length of a session - A quiet location, reliable internet connection, and a good headset with microphone - Friendly, easygoing communication style suited to informal dialogue
