AI Trainer - Icelandic - Norway

Role overview

Contribute to the evaluation of AI-generated Icelandic text as a fluent Icelandic speaker based in Norway. You will inspect model responses for natural language use, authentic expression, appropriate tone, and cultural or contextual accuracy. The opportunity is structured around individually posted assignments, with task details, estimated duration, and payment available before you decide whether to take part.

Responsibilities

- Review side-by-side Icelandic text samples and identify which output is stronger. - Evaluate whether generated writing sounds fluent, natural, idiomatic, and authentically Icelandic. - Locate awkward constructions, inappropriate phrasing, tone mismatches, and unnatural word choices. - Determine whether language register and vocabulary fit the intended audience and context. - Record tags and comments describing issues with naturalness, tone, authenticity, or cultural fit. - Perform focused language-review tasks, including some assignments that require up to one uninterrupted hour.

Requirements

- Fluent Icelandic with strong everyday written and spoken language skills. - Ability to distinguish nuanced differences in register, tone, word choice, and cultural meaning. - Fluent English for following instructions and explaining evaluation decisions. - Strong concentration and attention to detail across repeated text comparisons. - Reliable access to a computer and a quiet workspace. - A PayPal account for receiving payments.
