Role overview

Support the improvement of language models by evaluating whether AI-generated text captures the natural style and nuance of Icelandic. The work is designed for fluent Icelandic speakers who can make careful judgments about authenticity, cultural fit, and readability. Assignments are offered individually, allowing you to review the time estimate and payment before choosing whether to participate.

Responsibilities

- Conduct side-by-side reviews of Icelandic text and determine which version is stronger. - Assess whether generated writing sounds fluent, idiomatic, and natural to a native-level reader. - Flag unnatural tone, phrasing, word choices, or culturally unsuitable interpretations. - Check that the language register matches the intended audience and situation. - Provide structured tags and comments covering tone, authenticity, and language quality. - Maintain close attention during short assignments and occasional one-hour focused sessions.

Requirements

- Fluent Icelandic with a strong grasp of contemporary written and spoken language. - Sensitivity to fine distinctions in tone, register, context, and idiomatic expression. - Fluent English for following task guidance and communicating evaluation results. - Reliable attention to detail and the ability to apply evaluation criteria consistently. - Access to a computer and a quiet environment for reading and writing. - A PayPal account to receive payments.
