A work-from-home evaluator role based out of Brampton, Canada, aimed at fluent Punjabi speakers who can judge how well AI systems handle the language. The position involves critiquing AI-generated Punjabi text and voice output so that model developers can improve naturalness, pronunciation, and cultural fit. Each completed evaluation helps the underlying model get closer to genuine human communication.
Responsibilities
- Compare AI-generated Punjabi text and audio against authentic, naturally spoken examples. - Listen closely to synthesised voice clips and rate how realistic they sound. - Spot pronunciation errors, awkward tone, and culturally inappropriate phrasing. - Evaluate whether intonation and pacing match the conversational setting. - Provide structured tags covering naturalness, authenticity, and tone for each item reviewed. - Work in focused blocks, with the longest sessions running up to one uninterrupted hour.
Requirements
- Confident fluency in Punjabi, especially the way it is spoken day to day. - Solid working English for following task briefs and submitting short written feedback. - Sensitivity to subtle differences in accent, register, and vocal expression. - Consistent accuracy and attention to detail over many short evaluations. - Quiet space to work plus a good pair of headphones or external speakers. - PayPal account available for receiving payments.
