About this role
Role overview This is a remote, task-based opportunity for Cork-based Lithuanian speakers to act as evaluators for AI language and speech systems. You will assess how convincingly AI models produce Lithuanian, judging both written snippets and audio clips for naturalness and cultural fit. Work is completed through short online sessions that contributors can schedule around their own availability.
Responsibilities - Compare two AI-written Lithuanian responses at a time and decide which sounds more natural to a native speaker - Evaluate AI-generated voice recordings for pronunciation accuracy, tone, and conversational flow - Note where intonation or expression feels culturally inappropriate or robotic - Add brief tags or written feedback explaining strengths and weaknesses in each sample - Maintain focus during individual study blocks that can run up to one hour
Requirements - Strong, native-level command of Lithuanian in both spoken and written form - Comfortable working in English for instructions and written feedback - Ability to pick up on fine-grained differences in accent, pitch, and delivery - A quiet setting for listening, plus dependable headphones or external speakers - PayPal account set up to receive compensation - Self-directed working style and reliable home internet
Nice to have - Formal training or work experience in linguistics, translation, or voice-related fields - Familiarity with annotation tools, transcription, or evaluating AI-generated content
