Role overview This paid research participant position is tailored to senior AI, machine learning, and software engineering decision-makers in the US. Candidates who pass verification enter a curated talent pool and are matched to studies focused on workflow management tools and the way modern product and engineering organisations operate. Work is conducted remotely through AI-moderated interviews, written exercises, and short surveys.
Responsibilities - Pass a 10–15 minute paid screener to validate your fit for specific research projects. - Participate in AI-moderated interviews or written research tasks tied to live studies. - Complete qualitative surveys exploring tooling, team workflows, and decision criteria. - Discuss how workflow platforms are evaluated, purchased, implemented, and governed internally. - Offer perspective on how product, design, and engineering practices shape tooling strategy.
Requirements - Hold a manager-level (or above) role in AI/ML engineering, software engineering, software development, product management, or UX/product design. - Currently use or actively evaluate workflow management tools within an organisation. - Influence or own decisions about development, product, or workflow tooling, including purchasing, budgeting, or strategic recommendations. - Familiarity with software, product, or design workflows in a team setting. - US-based and able to dedicate up to one uninterrupted hour per paid task.
Nice to have - Direct, hands-on experience with Jira, Linear, Azure DevOps, GitHub Projects, GitLab Issues/Boards, Shortcut, Asana, ClickUp, or Monday.com. - Prior leadership of vendor selections, contract negotiations, or large-scale tool rollouts.
Benefits and work setup - Per-study compensation, with rates for qualifying projects reaching up to about $200 per hour. - Remote work with flexible scheduling; invitations depend on demand and how closely your profile matches each study.
