AI / Machine Learning Engineer Leaders and Decision-Makers for Workflow Management Tools - UK

Role overview This is a paid, flexible research participant role aimed at AI, machine learning, and software engineering leaders in the UK. Successful applicants are added to a vetted bench and matched to upcoming studies on workflow management tooling and modern development practices. Sessions are usually short, remote, and include a mix of AI-moderated interviews, written tasks, and surveys.

Responsibilities - Complete a short paid screener to confirm experience and suitability for relevant studies. - Take part in AI-moderated interviews and written research tasks as projects go live. - Contribute to qualitative surveys about tooling choices and team processes. - Articulate how workflow management tools are assessed, procured, and managed. - Share candid views on the intersection of product, design, and engineering workflows.

Requirements - Manager-level seniority (or higher) in AI/ML engineering, software engineering, software development, product management, or UX/product design. - Hands-on involvement with workflow management tools, either as a current user or active evaluator. - Influence over decisions relating to development, product, or workflow tooling, such as selection, budgeting, or strategic recommendations. - Working knowledge of software, product, or design delivery workflows. - UK residency and availability for tasks that may require up to one hour of uninterrupted work.

Nice to have - Direct experience with Jira, Linear, Azure DevOps, GitHub Projects, GitLab Issues/Boards, Shortcut, Asana, ClickUp, or Monday.com. - History of running tool evaluations, vendor comparisons, or organisation-wide rollouts.
