Senior Human Data Operations Partner, AI

Role overview

This is a senior operations role focused on the delivery of high-quality human data for AI development, sitting at the intersection of project management, participant operations, and data analysis. The position owns the end-to-end operational relationship for a strategic AI customer, ensuring the right participants are available, verified, and productive across complex projects. It partners closely with Product and Engineering to scale processes and improve how human data operations run.

Responsibilities

- Translate customer requirements into clear operational plans, workflows, and timelines, and lead projects from planning through delivery. - Manage participant supply for the account, including building and maintaining pools defined by skills, geography, language, verification, and availability. - Run onboarding, verification, and activation for domain experts and AI taskers, and support upskilling, assessment, and certification programmes. - Track supply, engagement, and quality metrics, and take action when performance or coverage falls off track. - Identify manual processes and operational bottlenecks and partner with Product and Engineering to automate or improve them. - Create and maintain project documentation, workflows, and enablement materials that support scale. - Serve as the day-to-day operational point of contact for delivery teams, flagging supply gaps and risks and driving them to resolution. - Share knowledge and good practice across the wider operations team and support colleagues on complex projects.

Requirements

- At least five years of experience in human data, AI data, workforce, or marketplace operations, or a comparable environment. - Track record managing complex projects or operational programmes with multiple stakeholders and shifting requirements. - Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with solid project management fundamentals. - Experience managing or improving participant or workforce operations, including onboarding, verification, quality, and activation. - Comfort working with operational data and metrics to identify problems and track performance. - Experience partnering with Product, Engineering, or other technical teams to make operations more efficient and scalable. - Strong written communication and documentation skills, with the ability to work across operational and technical audiences. - Familiarity with AI or ML data operations, such as data labelling, annotation, evaluation, or domain-specific task curation. - Comfort working independently, taking ownership of problems, and seeing them through to resolution.

Nice to have

- Experience with global crowdsourcing, gig-economy, or other distributed workforce platforms. - Understanding of human data platforms and how participant pools support AI training and evaluation pipelines.
