Senior Forward Deployed Engineer

Role overview A senior engineering role focused on deploying agentic AI solutions inside regulated financial institutions, including banks, credit unions, lenders, insurers, and wealth platforms. The engineer owns the technical execution of client engagements end-to-end, from discovery through production deployment, while bridging conversations between engineering teams and executive stakeholders. It is a hands-on coding position combined with technical leadership and significant client-facing responsibility.

Responsibilities - Lead technical discovery sessions with client engineering teams to determine scope, architecture, and approach - Design, build, integrate, and ship software directly into the client's production environment - Own delivery quality, integration outcomes, and timelines for the engagement - Translate technical tradeoffs and engineering decisions into clear narratives for client executives - Set the technical bar and serve as the example for the broader engineering team assigned to the work - Make and defend the hardest design and implementation calls when stakes are highest

Requirements - Significant experience as a senior engineer shipping production software in complex enterprise environments - Comfort working directly with client engineers and executives inside regulated organizations - Strong hands-on coding ability with the capacity to lead from the front on end-to-end system delivery - Ability to operate autonomously as the accountable technical owner of a client engagement - Current authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship (no H-1B, J-1, F-1, CPT, OPT, or future sponsorship support) - Residence in one of the following states: CO, FL, GA, MA, MD, MN, NE, NC, NJ, NY, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, or WA

Nice to have - Experience deploying agentic AI or LLM-driven systems into production - Familiarity with the compliance, security, and regulatory constraints of financial services, lending, or insurance environments
