Role overview
Shape the experience of a consumer digital product across mobile and web, improving core journeys and designing new features. You’ll lead design work from early concepts through implementation, partnering with product and engineering teams to deliver clear, polished experiences.
Responsibilities
- Design interfaces and interactions for mobile and web applications. - Improve onboarding and everyday user journeys, and create designs for new features. - Turn product needs and user insights into wireframes, prototypes, and detailed designs. - Guide design initiatives through implementation in collaboration with product managers and engineers. - Use research, feedback, and product data to identify experience improvements. - Help evolve the design system and maintain usability and visual consistency across the product.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience in product design, UX/UI design, or a related field. - A track record designing consumer mobile and web products, ideally for large audiences. - A portfolio demonstrating strong visual design, product judgment, and attention to detail. - Knowledge of UX principles, interaction design, prototyping, and design systems. - Proficiency with a common design tool such as Figma, and ability to deliver independently. - Strong communication and collaboration skills, with fluent English.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI products, conversational interfaces, or other interactive applications. - UX research experience, including planning studies and applying findings to design. - Familiarity with prompt engineering or AI-supported design workflows. - Experience establishing or expanding a design system, or designing for an engaged consumer community.
Benefits and work setup
The role is fully remote in the CET time zone, with flexible working hours and a vacation policy described as generous. It is a full-time contractor engagement, starting with a three-month term and the possibility of extension. The expected start is as soon as possible.
