Intermediate DevOps Engineer

Role overview As an Intermediate DevOps Engineer, you’ll help build and operate the cloud infrastructure behind a subscription software platform. The work spans automation, delivery pipelines, reliability, security, and capacity planning, with close collaboration across engineering, product, and design teams to make releases smoother and systems dependable.

Responsibilities - Design, automate, and maintain scalable infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code practices. - Build and improve CI/CD pipelines that support reliable, low-friction software releases. - Monitor system performance, availability, and security, and address issues before they affect users. - Participate in incident response and post-incident reviews to resolve problems and reduce recurrence. - Plan capacity with partner teams and improve resource use and operating costs. - Establish operational practices and service targets for system availability, performance, and security.

Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field. - 4–6 or more years in DevOps or a similar role, focused on secure, scalable, highly available systems. - Hands-on infrastructure or DevOps experience at a SaaS company with a multi-tenant subscription product. - Strong scripting and programming skills, plus experience in Windows and Linux environments. - Cloud infrastructure experience, especially AWS, and provisioning tools such as Terraform or OpenTofu. - Familiarity with containers and orchestration, such as Docker and Kubernetes, and monitoring tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
