Job details
About this role
Role overview Set the software architecture for a custom AI inference platform across current and future hardware generations. This senior technical leadership role spans silicon, firmware, operating systems, runtimes, simulation, security, performance, and developer tools, combining long-term interface decisions with hands-on prototypes where needed.
Responsibilities - Define stable, versioned interfaces for boot, commands, memory, data movement, scheduling, telemetry, errors, resets, security, and host-device communication. - Bring runtime libraries, firmware, Linux, simulation, and post-silicon tools into a coherent platform design. - Lead architecture reviews, record trade-offs, and resolve technical issues across teams. - Prototype high-risk interfaces and provide reference implementations to clarify design choices. - Mentor senior engineers and work with security and performance specialists on protection, observability, debugging, and throughput.
Requirements - At least 10 years in low-level platform software or a related systems field, with architecture-level ownership. - Deep knowledge of computer architecture, memory systems, concurrency, device I/O, hardware-software interfaces, and system bring-up. - Strong C or C++ skills and sound judgment about when to use specifications, models, or code to settle design questions.
