Manual QA Engineer (Game Client)

Role overview

A Manual QA Engineer position embedded in a Game Client squad within an iGaming-focused technology supplier, working alongside creative and technical teammates to ship polished game products. The role combines manual, functional, regression, mobile, and cross-browser testing with exposure to automation frameworks, CI tooling, and client/server architectures.

Responsibilities

- Designing and executing comprehensive test plans, structured test cases, and test scripts spanning manual, functional, regression, mobile, and cross-browser scenarios - Logging, tracking, and helping drive defect resolution with developers across the squad - Operating within client/server architecture environments and integrating testing into CI pipelines such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions - Maintaining and improving testing workflows and procedures inside agile squads - Collaborating with mathematicians, sound producers, artists, designers, and animators to identify, isolate, and resolve issues

Requirements

- 4 or more years of hands-on manual testing experience - Strong foundation in QA theory and agile methodologies - Experience in iGaming development or general game development environments - Demonstrated skill with mobile and cross-browser testing, including familiarity with tools such as BrowserStack or equivalents - Hands-on exposure to automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Jest, or Pytest - Basic proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript, plus experience testing APIs with tools like Postman - Practical experience writing detailed test documentation and using test management tools such as Zephyr or TestRail

Nice to have

- Familiarity with observability platforms such as DataDog or Grafana - Experience working with SQL, NoSQL, or analytical databases
