Platform Engineer

Role overview Build and improve an internal developer portal powered by Backstage, helping engineering teams find services, use infrastructure and automate common work. You’ll collaborate with platform, DevOps and application teams to make developer workflows clearer and more consistent, while maintaining a reliable service in a cloud environment.

Responsibilities - Develop and maintain portal features and integrations that simplify infrastructure workflows. - Create self-service processes that combine useful automation with appropriate controls. - Connect CI/CD pipelines, service catalogs and observability tools. - Support adoption across engineering teams with different workflows and needs. - Maintain platform availability and performance, and follow developments in platform engineering and developer productivity.

Requirements - Strong TypeScript and Node.js skills, plus experience with a backend language such as Go or Python. - Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform and CI/CD pipelines. - Experience integrating internal tools through APIs, GraphQL or webhooks. - Understanding of observability tools and practices, such as Grafana, Prometheus or OpenTelemetry. - Familiarity with OAuth, role-based access control and security practices. - Interest in developer experience, automation and open-source software.

Nice to have Experience with Backstage or another internal developer portal, and with Temporal or a similar workflow orchestration tool.
