Engineering Manager - Golang [Telesales]

Role overview Lead and develop an engineering team building tools for phone-based customer acquisition. The work spans team leadership, delivery and technical direction for web tools, calling strategies and agent performance; the team also expects to develop a broader platform from its solution. You’ll stay close enough to the code to guide decisions and contribute when needed.

Responsibilities - Set priorities and manage delivery against business needs, contributing to development when appropriate. - Coach engineers, provide feedback and support their professional growth. - Oversee team performance and project delivery, addressing quality or timing concerns. - Guide backend architecture, design and implementation in Go. - Work with business partners to clarify loosely defined needs and explain prioritization decisions.

Requirements - At least one year managing engineering teams in a fast-paced setting; fintech and Go experience are preferred. - At least four years of Go development experience and a strong technical foundation. - Experience with hiring, people development, performance management and delivery. - Ability to collaborate across functions and build effective working relationships. - Comfort making independent decisions when requirements are unclear. - English proficiency at B1 level or higher.
