The architect partners with sales, customer success, product, and business development teams to translate complex government mission needs into technical solution designs, demos, and proposal responses. It is a remote, full-time position based in Australia, with travel up to 50% and a hybrid expectation where local offices exist.

Responsibilities

Requirements

- Six or more years in a technical capacity supporting the Australia and/or New Zealand Defence and Intelligence community. - Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and eligibility to obtain and maintain required security clearances. - Working proficiency with geospatial tooling such as QGIS, SocetGXP, ArcGIS, and GDAL, plus scripting in Python and familiarity with AI/ML approaches. - Hands-on experience with IMINT, ISR workflows, GIS, remote sensing imagery processing, APIs, and data pipelines. - Demonstrated ability to architect and present complex systems to both technical practitioners and executive government stakeholders. - Strong communication, prioritization, and multitasking skills, with a willingness to travel up to 50%, including internationally.

Nice to have

- Experience bridging commercial geospatial products into classified or sovereign defence environments. - Familiarity with emerging analytics and machine-learning techniques applied to imagery and geospatial datasets.

Benefits and work setup
