Senior Workplace Engineer (File Services)

Role overview An IT and services organization is hiring a Senior Workplace Engineer focused on File Services within its Platforms and Systems Engineering group. The role supports workplace file infrastructure for a remote-first team based in Romania and sits inside a broader Information Technology function.

Responsibilities - Operate, maintain, and evolve workplace File Services infrastructure - Support remote employees across Romania with reliable file access and storage - Collaborate with Platforms and Systems Engineering peers on integration with the wider workplace stack - Contribute to stability, performance, and security improvements for shared file platforms

Requirements - Senior-level experience in workplace engineering, systems engineering, or a closely related IT discipline - Hands-on knowledge of enterprise File Services technologies and supporting infrastructure - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a remote operating environment - Comfort working within cross-functional IT and engineering teams

Nice to have - Background supporting remote or distributed workplace environments - Familiarity with platforms and systems engineering best practices in IT services contexts
