Software Engineer

Role overview Build and operate software that connects production scheduling technology to real factory environments. The role centers on backend development and customer integrations, with opportunities to contribute to APIs, frontend work, cloud infrastructure, and machine learning operations. You will work closely with backend and ML colleagues, turning customer needs into dependable features and helping keep services stable from staging through production.

Responsibilities - Develop production backend services, primarily in Rust, and contribute to API design and system architecture. - Write unit and integration tests, and investigate issues in staging and production. - Connect with customer ERP, MES, and related systems; transform incoming structured and semi-structured data into internal formats. - Join customer discussions, clarify requirements, and implement robust solutions. - Build and maintain frontend features using React and TypeScript where needed. - Deploy and operate services on Kubernetes, and support MLOps workflows with the ML team.

Requirements - Willingness to learn, take ownership, and adapt as the role develops. - Collaborative approach and comfort working in a flat team structure. - Strong spoken and written English communication. - Ability to manage time, tasks, and priorities independently.

Nice to have - Rust experience, including professional, academic, or personal projects. - Frontend development experience, particularly with React. - DevOps experience such as Kubernetes or Ansible. - Experience speaking with customers or working in manufacturing or industrial software.
