Senior Back-End Platform Engineer

Role overview Design and build the back-end services and data flows that underpin enterprise platforms and integrations. You’ll make architectural decisions about APIs, service boundaries and production operations, with a focus on reliability and clear contracts across distributed systems.

Responsibilities - Build REST and event-driven APIs for platform and integration use cases. - Define service boundaries, data contracts and patterns for connecting distributed components. - Develop data-processing pipelines and workflow automation. - Implement authentication, authorization and audit mechanisms for enterprise environments. - Improve performance, reliability and horizontal scalability; support logging, tracing, alerting and incident readiness. - Work with front-end engineers and integration architects to establish usable API contracts.

Requirements - Production experience building back-end services with Node.js, .NET, Python, Go or a comparable language. - Strong understanding of REST API design, event-driven architecture and asynchronous processing. - Experience choosing and working with relational and non-relational data stores. - Ability to design for reliability, including idempotency and retry behavior.
