Statistical Consultant

Role overview A Statistical Consultant position on a Statistical Reporting Services team supporting insurance clients through actuarial consulting, data services, and regulatory-related statistical work. The role spans property & casualty and life, accident & health lines, contributing to data mappings, translations, and testing for statistical development projects.

Responsibilities - Support statistical reporting deliverables for insurance clients across Commercial and Personal Lines - Build and maintain data mappings and data translations used in statistical development projects - Provide testing support and quality checks for statistical reporting outputs - Collaborate with actuarial, compliance, and product development colleagues on bureau monitoring and filings-related work - Take ownership of assigned workstreams, prioritizing tasks to meet established deadlines - Communicate findings, data quality issues, and project status to internal and external stakeholders

Requirements - Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university - Minimum 3 years of experience with Commercial or Personal Lines insurance products and coverages - Proficiency with MS Office products, specifically Excel, Access, and Outlook - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling data and reports - Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills - Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task to meet established deadlines

Nice to have - Background in statistical reporting, predictive analytics, or data services within insurance - Familiarity with actuarial consulting workflows and regulatory filings processes - A proactive approach to owning projects end to end
