Role overview

This position sits within a media science practice that brings data expertise and creative thinking together on shared campaigns. The senior specialist owns technical campaign launch, trafficking, tagging, and measurement work that supports media teams across the organization. The role reports to the Media Science lead and is central to operational quality and innovation in ad operations.

Responsibilities

- Oversee end-to-end execution of multi-platform advertising campaigns, from pre-campaign planning and measurement setup through launch, analysis, and optimization. - Implement, QA, and troubleshoot ad tags and pixels, partnering with media and creative teams to meet technical and campaign requirements. - Maintain and update the Creative Rotation Sheet, resolving ad serving or tracking issues quickly to protect campaign integrity. - Guide Ad Ops communications across the media practice, fostering collaboration and modeling high standards of professionalism. - Monitor operational efficiency and quality assurance, regularly recommending workflow improvements that lift team productivity. - Track industry shifts such as privacy regulation and cookie deprecation, and translate those changes into actionable recommendations for the team.

Requirements

- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in digital operations at media agencies, focused on ad tagging, pixeling, trafficking, and troubleshooting. - Proficiency with Google Tag Manager for tracking and measurement, with working knowledge of social platform tag and event management (Meta, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, Snap). - Ad server trafficking experience with Google Campaign Manager. - Strong HTML and JavaScript skills for implementing ad tags and pixels. - Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage tactical responsibilities against shared timelines. - High attention to detail and a strong commitment to QA.

Nice to have

- Functional familiarity with tag management platforms such as Adobe, Tealium, Oracle, or Segment. - App tracking experience. - Experience managing and analyzing campaign data.
