QA Engineer - US Remote

Role overview Join a healthcare SaaS organization as a remote QA Engineer responsible for safeguarding product quality and reliability in solutions that directly affect clinical workflows and patient care. The role blends manual and automated testing within a regulated environment, with a strong emphasis on disciplined execution, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities - Execute manual test cases and document defects clearly for engineering follow-up - Develop and maintain automation scripts integrated into CI/CD pipelines - Apply API testing tools to validate service-level behavior and integrations - Author and own test plans while managing overall coverage and QA environment integrity - Ensure HIPAA-aligned test coverage across releases and report status with clear documentation - Partner with developers, product, and engineering teams during planning and delivery ceremonies

Requirements - 2–4 years of professional QA engineering experience - Hands-on experience executing test cases and documenting defects - Familiarity with test automation, API testing, and CI/CD integration - Understanding of QA methodologies and quality metrics - Strong written and verbal communication with openness to feedback

Nice to have - Testing experience in a HIPAA- or HITRUST-regulated healthcare environment - Performance and security testing exposure - Building test frameworks from the ground up
