Role overview A solutions engineer is needed to sit at the intersection of Sales, Customer Success, and Product for a B2B identity intelligence platform. The role spans the full deal lifecycle, from discovery and onboarding through implementation and expansion, serving as the technical voice and strategic partner who crafts seamless onboarding journeys and designs solutions that fit client ecosystems. It suits someone who blends deep technical acumen with confident customer-facing storytelling in a fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities - Partner with Sales and Customer Success teams to shape deal and account strategy and lead white-glove onboarding experiences. - Lead with a solutions-first mindset, asking targeted discovery questions and proposing implementation paths aligned to client outcomes. - Act as the technical directly responsible individual and trusted advisor across the solution delivery lifecycle, from workflow design and implementation through QA and deployment. - Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Support to share insights, advocate for client needs, and drive continuous improvement. - Own and complete technical components of RFPs, RFIs, and solution proposals. - Deliver customized product demos spanning web, iOS, Android, and cloud platforms, tailored to vertical and use case.
Requirements - 5–8 years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or similar customer-facing technical role. - 2+ years of experience in Identity Verification (IDV) or Identity and Access Management (IAM). - Experience supporting customers through both pre-sales and post-sales engagements, including demos, RFPs, technical discovery, implementation, and hypercare. - Strong customer-facing skills and the ability to engage across multiple levels and departments within large organizations. - Working technical knowledge of APIs, web development, iOS, Android, and system integration, paired with confident presentation and communication skills. - Comfort operating in high-growth, fast-paced environments with ambiguity and the ability to build from scratch.
