Mobile Developer I - US Remote

Role overview This entry-level mobile engineering role supports a healthcare communication platform used by clinicians, care teams, and provider organizations. The position focuses on building and maintaining cross-platform iOS and Android applications with React Native, contributing to features that streamline clinical workflows and accelerate time to treatment.

Responsibilities - Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native for both iOS and Android, working alongside senior mobile engineers. - Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into responsive, high-quality code. - Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs. - Debug and resolve bugs, performance issues, and platform-specific quirks between iOS and Android. - Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback from senior engineers. - Write and maintain basic unit and integration tests to support application stability. - Communicate effectively in a remote setting, including maintaining an active on-camera presence during meetings.

Requirements - Some prior technical experience in mobile development, software development, or a related area, OR a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field. - Working knowledge of React Native and JavaScript or TypeScript, including React fundamentals such as components, state, props, and hooks. - Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile delivery practices. - Familiarity with mobile UI/UX principles and an interest in building skills across both iOS and Android. - Experience using Git for version control and consuming REST APIs. - Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
