About this role
Role overview Own software features from technical kickoff through release, translating validated product problems, prototypes, and specifications into architecture, implementation plans, and verified production code. The role centers on directing and critically reviewing AI coding agents: you remain accountable for correctness, security, and maintainability, while collaborating with Product, Design, and platform architects on scope, system capabilities, and release readiness.
Responsibilities - Define feature architecture, data models, APIs, component contracts, and system constraints before implementation begins. - Plan test seams, program structure, dependencies, implementation order, and incremental pull requests across repositories. - Turn architecture and program plans into clear agent tasks; inspect generated code for errors, security weaknesses, and inconsistencies. - Review changes alongside automated tests, CI/CD checks, security scans, and human code review to confirm they match the intended design. - Raise technical risks at kickoff and coordinate with Product, Design, and platform architects when prototypes, requirements, or platform capabilities need attention. - Carry features through edge cases, error handling, release readiness, and ongoing maintainability.
Requirements - Computer science degree or equivalent practical experience. - Experience building and shipping production software, including system design, data modeling, API design, and component contracts. - Strong code review judgment and ability to identify correctness, security, and maintainability issues in code written by others. - Working knowledge of automated testing strategy, CI/CD, version control, and secure development practices such as static analysis and dependency scanning. - Ability to break features into independently reviewable increments and communicate clearly with product, design, and clinical partners. - Ability to handle protected health information in line with HIPAA and internal data governance requirements.
Nice to have - Experience with clinical or operational platforms, monorepos, or shared CI/CD infrastructure. - Experience evaluating AI-driven product features, including defining evaluation criteria and test cases.
Benefits and work setup - Medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus a 401(k) with employer match. - Paid time off, holiday pay, and professional development. - The role supports technology used across home health, hospice, senior living, and home care operations.
