Role overview
A senior architect role focused on enabling strategic partners and enterprise customers to design, deploy, and operationalize AI-driven customer experience agents at scale. The position blends consultative solution architecture, conversational AI design, and integration engineering across complex, multi-system enterprise environments. It is highly customer-facing and cross-functional, partnering closely with partner success, engineering, and program management teams.
Responsibilities
- Scope and design end-to-end AI agent deployments across complex enterprise landscapes, from discovery through go-live - Define how the platform integrates with surrounding systems such as CRMs, ERPs, ticketing platforms, and contact center technologies - Lead technical discovery workshops, architecture reviews, and solution design sessions with partner and customer stakeholders - Translate customer workflows and business requirements into structured conversational components, prompt designs, guardrails, and escalation logic - Build, configure, test, and troubleshoot integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, JSON or XML payloads, and tooling such as Postman - Coach partners toward independent delivery capability, review their solution designs, and resolve cross-team delivery blockers - Document reusable architecture patterns, implementation guidance, technical standards, and best practices
Requirements
- Significant experience in enterprise solution architecture, technical consulting, or a comparable customer-facing architecture role - Strong integration depth, including API design, authentication, data transformation, field mapping, and error handling - Practical familiarity with conversational AI concepts such as large language models, prompting strategies, embeddings, and context management - Ability to apply systems thinking to multi-system data flows, dependencies, and reliability challenges - Comfortable leading workshops and communicating with both technical and business audiences - Structured approach to validating architecture, integration reliability, and real-world agent behavior
Nice to have
- Familiarity with integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato, or SAP Integration Suite - Exposure to contact center, telephony, or enterprise customer experience technologies - Experience with voice configuration patterns such as SSML, lexicons, or regex - Familiarity with embeddings, tool calling, retrieval, or agent orchestration patterns - Working knowledge of TypeScript, Node.js, Git, CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, or Kubernetes - Prior experience supporting enterprise go-lives and production troubleshooting
