Backend Developer (Laravel)

Role overview

Develop and maintain backend systems that support web and mobile applications. You’ll build APIs and data structures, connect external services, and work with frontend, mobile, and product colleagues to deliver secure, dependable, high-performance features.

Responsibilities - Design, build, and maintain backend services and REST APIs. - Create secure, scalable backend architecture and implement authentication, authorization, and role-based access. - Design and tune database structures, relationships, indexes, and queries. - Integrate third-party services and external APIs. - Debug, test, and maintain existing systems while following sound performance and security practices. - Agree API contracts with client-side teams and produce clear, maintainable documentation and code.

Requirements - Strong PHP and Laravel experience. - Understanding of REST APIs and backend architecture. - Experience with MySQL or MariaDB, including relationships, indexes, and query optimization. - Familiarity with Laravel queues, jobs, middleware, and validation. - Experience using Git in a collaborative workflow and applying security practices for authentication and data protection. - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Nice to have - Experience with Laravel 9 or 10, or API authentication tools such as JWT, Sanctum, or Passport. - Docker or server deployment experience with Linux and Nginx. - Familiarity with Flutter, frontend frameworks, or larger ERP, CRM, or SaaS systems.
