A hands-on internship supporting a threat intelligence team, well suited for students or early-career candidates who want practical experience in security research. The role blends monitoring, written analysis, and content production for recurring intelligence outputs.
Responsibilities
- Help track active threat campaigns, capturing indicators, timelines, and noteworthy shifts in activity. - Research newly disclosed CVEs and write short summaries that explain exploitability in plain language. - Contribute to the production of weekly intelligence briefs, including drafting sections and gathering supporting evidence. - Maintain internal research trackers and ensure findings are organized and easy for the team to retrieve.
Requirements
- Foundational understanding of core cybersecurity concepts such as vulnerabilities, threat actors, and common attack patterns. - Strong analytical skills paired with clear written communication. - Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and pick up new tools and topics quickly.
Nice to have
- Participation in CTFs, hands-on labs, or active security communities. - Basic scripting experience in Python or JavaScript to help automate small research tasks.
