Machine Learning Engineer, Part-Time AI Model Development - Remote (United States)

Role overview Contribute machine learning expertise to the development and evaluation of AI systems through flexible, part-time remote contract work. You will create realistic modeling tasks, assess model outputs, produce expert-quality solutions, and explain where results need improvement.

Responsibilities - Design and refine machine learning models in Python using tools such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch. - Build data pipelines and preprocessing workflows for training and inference. - Evaluate model performance, tune hyperparameters, and run benchmarks. - Document experiments and translate findings into clear technical recommendations. - Review model responses and explain their limitations using practical engineering judgment.

Requirements - Practical experience delivering machine learning solutions, including model evaluation, feature engineering, or data preprocessing. - Experience with Python, machine learning frameworks, and MongoDB. - Professional English fluency and the ability to communicate technical findings clearly in writing. - Availability to work as an independent contractor; prior AI training experience is not required.
